2. Jency Holland was born about 1834.  She married Guion Earp on 10 August 1854, in Johnston County, North Carolina.  Guion was the son of Hudson (or Hutson) Earp and brother of Levenia Earp.  Levenia Earp married James Smith.  They had a child Thula Ann Smith who married William Sherrod Earp.  Thula Ann Smith and William Sherrod Earp had a child William Gaston Earp who was born in 1849.  William Sherrod Earp married 2nd Winnieford Eason after the War Between the States.  They had several sons, one who was named (again) William Gaston Earp.  This second William Gaston Earp married Pasha Ellen Earp, called Ella Earp, daughter of Jency Holland and Guion Earp ⁴³

In 1893, when she was 59 years old, Jency Holland Earp was a defendant in a land dispute filed against her by some of her in-laws.  Transcriptions of the Johnston County, North Carolina Supreme Court documents are in the Public Records section of this web site.

5.  Martha Jane Earp was born 13 March 1862.  She married Lloyd Eason 7 April 1889.  She was his second wife; he first married Sallie Wilson on 17 March 1881.  Sallie Wilson was born 25 November 1857, the daughter of John Wilson and Lucinda.  She died 18 March 1888.  Sallie and Lloyd Eason had 3 children together:  Minnie Eason, Pearl Eason (born 15 November 1882, died 11 May 1956), and Charley Eason (born 30 June 1886, died 25 April 1917). 

Lloyd Eason was born in 1855 and died 27 May 1930 in Selma, Johnston County, North Carolina.  Martha Jane Earp died 28 July 1927.   Martha Jane Earp and Lloyd Eason had six children together.

1.  Everett Eason was born 19 August 1892 and died 18 December 1959.

2.  Sidney Eason was born 14 March 1896 and died 1 April 1938.  He had a son, Sidney Eason, Jr.

3.  Avery "Dude" Eason was born 18 April 1897 and died 12 December 1960.

4.  Paul Eason was born in 1899.

5.  Sarah Eason was born in August 1899.

6.  Millard Person Eason was born 7 September 1907 and died 18 January 1967.  He married Laura Ellen Hughes.  She was born 2 May 1905 and died 21 May 1973.  ¹⁰¹

6.  James G. Earp was born 10 September 1865 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  He died 23 April 1917.

7.  George Strong Earp was born 25 March 1868 and died 19 November 1933 in Franklin County, North Carolina.

8.  Avery Ann Earp was born 18 October 1871.  She married James E. Henry.  She died in a flu epidemic around 1918.  She is buried in Johnston County, North Carolina.⁴⁵

1.  Jency Alberta Henry was born 7 August 1894 in Selma, Johnston County, North Carolina.  She died 1 November 1976 in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina.  She married Hugh McKelphin Crumpler 11 March 1922.  Hugh was the son of Gaston Crumpler and Henryetta Williamson.  He was born 20 September 1893 and died 16 August 1966.

2.  Marvin (Mark) Gaston Crumpler was born 6 October 1924.  He died 28 April 1998 in Harris County, Texas.  He married Mildred Smith of Goldsboro, North Carolina 15 April 1945.

3.  Rosa Mae Crumpler was born 14 February 1926 in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina.  She married James Robert Mozingo on 11 October 1947, in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina.  James Mozingo was the son of George Mozingo and Rosa Quinn.  He was born in Seven Springs, Wayne County, North Carolina 9 March 1926.  He served in the United States Navy in the Pacific during World War II.  He owned Mozingo's Saw Service and was co-owner of Mozingo Brothers Cabinet and Millwork.  James Mozingo died 6 October 2002 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, at the age of 76.  He was buried 8 October 2002, at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro, North Carolina, with military honors.  Rosa Crumpler Mozingo died 21 June 2004, at age 78, in Goldsboro, North Carolina.  She was buried 24 June 2004 next to her husband at Wayne Memorial Park.  Their obituaries can be found in the Public Records section of this web site.

1.  Jency Belinda Bradshaw was born 27 February 1975 in Clinton, Sampson County, North Carolina.  She holds an Associate's Degree in Science, graduating from James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville, Duplin County, North Carolina with an R.N. degree in Nursing.  She married Jonathan Brian Chestnutt 28 November 1998, in Turkey Baptist Church, Turkey, Sampson County, North Carolina.  Jonathan was born 15 March 1970, in Kenansville, Duplin County, North Carolina.

1.  Jason Davis Chestnutt was born 18 December 2003 in Kenansville, Duplin County, North Carolina.

2.  Stephanie Beth Bradshaw was born 4 December 1977 in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina in May 2001 and did work on her Master's at the same University.  She graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She married Robert Joseph Woodruff 28 March 1997, in a garden wedding ceremony in Turkey, Sampson County, North Carolina.  Robert was born 19 September 1976, in Logansport, Indiana.  

4.  Ruby Lee Crumpler was born 27 October 1927.  She died 24 November 1927 in Wayne County, North Carolina.  

5.  Annie Ruth Crumpler was born 2 August 1928.  She married Urban Jay Roberts around 1950.  Urban Roberts was a son of Milford "Dick" Roberts and Emogene Price, one of five children.  He had two brothers, Jack and Lemly Roberts, and two sisters, Helen and Eleanor Roberts.  He died 30 November 2005 and was buried in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro, North Carolina, on 2 December 2005.  His obituary is in the Public Records section of this web site.

1.  Brenda Gail Roberts was born est. 1955.  She married Jeffery Charles.
