Diana, I wish to tell you another fact relating to my family. My mother Elizabeth Harriett Holland was the daughter of W. R. or William Robert Holland. William had changed his name from W. R. or William R. Hampton prior to marrying my grandmother Molly. He left my grandmother in 1911 in Atlanta, Georgia, and went to work at the Cochran Furniture store there and wnd [sic] changed his name back to Hampton, he worked there until around 1945 at which time he died. At the time of his death he was married to a Mary Biles. During the marriage to my grandmother Molly, they had children Edgar Edwin Holland, Bernice Grice Holland, and my mother, so do not get confused should you come across her name as a Holland.
