In the name of God Amen

I, Pasha Holland of the county of Wayne and state of North Carolina being in sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the same and calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that all flesh has to die do make this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I recommend my soul to Almighty God who give it and my Body to the Earth to Be Buried in decent Christian Burial at the discression [sic] of my Exectors [sic] nothing doubting but at the General resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and attaching (??) Such worldly estate where with it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

I give to my son Warren Holland fifty cents.

I give to my daughter Avy Copeland one cow.

I give to my son Exum Holland fifty cents.

Jinnett Holland I give him fifty cents.

Jincy I give Jincy Copeland one cow and bed and fernature [sic] ????

I give to my son West Holland one bed and fermature [sic].

I give to my daughter Candis Peacock fifty cents

I give all the rest of my property not willed all ready away I give to my two sons Green H. Holland and Needham Gray Holland that is to say my Negro Tempe, Notes and everything else not willen [sic] away except my wearing clothes them I give to my two daughters Avy Copeland and Jincy Copeland to be equally divided between them by my exectors [sic].

I give one silver brest [sic] pin to my son Needham Gray Holland ------------------------------

I leave my son West Holland and John G. Burns [Barns?] exector to this my will believing in them to settle my estate just and honest.

Wayne County February Term 1859 [or 1851]

When was the foregoing paper writing purporting to be the last will and testaments of Pasha Holland offered for probate in the on the testimony of Wm. Pope and John Colyer the subscribing witnesses thereto, and is duly found and admitted to probabe and ordered to be recorded.  Wherefore West Holland son of the Executress therein ????? is qualified.
