Burdin Holland descends from Jimmie and Jerutha Holland's first son Elisha, 
and through Elisha and Patience Watkins's 7th son Absalom (about 1802 - about 1898). 
Burdin is Absalom's 1st son, born 1833 in Wayne County, North Carolina, died 1902.

Burdin's 2nd wife was Missouri Pate.
Their 3rd child was Evaline M. Holland who married  William Chase.
Evaline Holland and William Chase's 5th child was Rosa Chase who married Edgar Howell.
Marvin Ray Howell was their first child.
